Reflections Program 2011-2012 – “Diversity Means”

The Reflections Program is a recognition and achievement program which provides an opportunity for students to create original works of art based on a pre-selected theme. Students in pre-school through grade 12 participate in the areas of visual arts, photography, literature, musical composition, dance choreography, and film/video production.

The Reflections Program is a recognition program, not a competition. Entries are judged by category and age division (PS-Grade 2; Grades 3-5; Grades 6-8; and Grades 9-12). Judges select the entries which show best quality of work and interpretation of the current year’s theme – “Diversity Means” The Outstanding Interpretation entries are then forwarded to the Fairfax County Council Level where the entries are judged to move forward to the District, State, and finally to the National PTA level.

All participants at CPES are recognized for their achievement with a ribbon and certificate at a Recognition Ceremony held in November (date TBD). Selections receiving Outstanding Interpretation in each age group and category will also receive a medal.

Share your thoughts by entering one, two, three, four, five, or all six categories in the Reflections program!! Good luck and have fun.
